TAKE THIS JOB... (2003)
Episode Two "Love Connection"
Those working the labors of love.

Dr. Ava Cadell, a Los Angeles based sex therapist, helps couples keep their love alive through sexual empowerment. While the high-strung matchmakers of the M. Chatfield Social Agency work overtime to help their wealthy clients find true love (with fees that go as high as $100,000).

Raised by strict Catholic nuns, Dr. Ava Cadell started her career as a b-movie sex symbol before discovering her true calling. We follow her as she spends the day doing everything from helping couples and singles spark their sex lives using role-play and sex toys, to helping clients cope with fear of monogamy, negotiating asynchronous sexual desires, and even anger management. Ava is driven by her background of difficult, personal experiences to use the "emotional bag of goodies" they provide to help as many people as she can. "I think it's important to keep love alive because in the end nothing that you do, nothing that you say, matters as much as how much you've loved."

A former Ford model, Maureen Chatfield started the high-end M.Chatfield Social Agency after her own divorce when she saw the vast numbers of lonely people using personal ads. We follow Maureen and her fellow matchmakers, Nancy Gall and Karen Cooper, as they spend a frenetic day trying to make love happen. Karen interviews new clients and sets up a lunch date for a single equestrian, Linda, who is seeking the perfect "package". Meanwhile, Maureen and Nancy prepare for a big wine tasting mixer that night, to create some romantic sparks and create new business. We also follow another client Bari, who has "kissed a lot of frogs," as she goes on a dinner date hoping to meet Mr. Right.

The day ends with the matchmakers' high society wine tasting mixer fueling the passions of their clients, while Dr. Ava gives an interactive seminar on "passion power". Here she succeeds in helping a client propose a whole month of monogamy to his girlfriend.
