TAKE THIS JOB... (2003)
Episode Twelve "Someone's Got To Do It"
Thousands of people work in jobs that are hard to stomach or make you the unpopular kid on the block.
Sometimes the most lucrative jobs are the ones no one wants to do. We look at two of them. We follow Neal Smither, whose multi-million dollar franchise Crime Scene Cleaners has cleaned up over 30,000 scenes.
Neil and his employees spend their day answering calls to clean up what nobody else will - the remnants of homicides, suicides and natural deaths in houses, hotels, cars, and anywhere else where deaths occur. The job has taken its toll on Neil - but his ambition is still to secure his standing as the "McDonald's of crime scene cleaning".
Neil's day is interwoven with that of Kate Stein, a repo woman in a man's world...and despised by the public because of the very nature of her work. As a repossession agent, her job is to track down and take what is to many people their most prized possession - their car.
Kate has her own methods for being as humane as possible, but who would want to do that job? Maybe someone who gets a kick out of stealing cars...legally.
